January 31, 2012. :)
Today the prom tickets go on sale for only $25! The only two days to get the tickets for this price are today and thursday. If you wait to get them, they will not go back on sale until March. The price will go up to $40 when they go back on sale and increase weekly. ALL FINES MUST BE PAYED PRIOR TO BUYING THE TICKETS. On another note softball, baseball and soccer tryouts will resume today starting at 4:00. Don't forget to have all the gear that is required for the sport and for the tryouts. Good luck to everyone trying out. :) Congratulations to McCall Hilburn and Quantrell Jones for winning Homecoming King and Queen! Well, thats all the information I have for today. Have a great day!! The new semester Roar Report!
The new LHS News Team is now up and running! Congratulations to Kayla Hardee and Kayla Todd for earning spots as our ancor of the Roar Report for the next few weeks. :) Good luck to the Loris Lions basketball team as they play the Marion Swamp foxes. We are looking foward to yet another Loris Lion win. Go Lions! :) For the people who did not know, Monday was Super hero day, Tuesday was 80s day, Wednesday was Formal/thrift shop prom day, today is class day and tomorrow is blue and gold/wacky tacky day. Thanks to everyone who has participated in spirit week. Good luck Lions!

Today is the first day of our new segment, the 'Opinions' segment!
Every week, I (Devon) will go around, interviewing students on a new subject, to be shown on the segment.
This week's question is, "What is your opinion on the talent show being cancelled this year?"
If you have an idea of what I could ask for following weeks, just let me know. :3
The speeches for the nominees for the Student Council will be shown today on the Student News, and the voting will take place shortly after. Be sure to vote. ;D
For our question of the week, Caleb Stalvey asked, "What movie should I see this weekend?" and whatever you guys decide on, he will go see it.
